Thank you for your kindness and thoughfulness in answer to our questions. Your new 'Earnings Trader' system looks unique , in that it's currently delivering over 9:1 (filtered) win/loss ratio, a very smart system and suitable for options trading (although we have only experience of trading shares ) But since you have done all of the work in selecting the potential winning options and the system is so mechanical we don't see any real work to do- or major problems in trading options.
From what we have studied , so far, it seems since there is less risk due to lower capital input and a much higher return;which more than offsets the occassional losing trades ( no doubt the strength of the current bull market is helping to give a high win/loss ratio )? Since we are in a different time zone we wonder what effect this would have on us,and would like to learn more about how much time is available to act once the signals to buy or sell are listed?

| Today I decided to test what is new on your site and I am glad I did it. Your guy recommended the Pre-Earnings Announcement system, as best one you have. I went through your web page, bought the manual and calculated trade statistics the way I like to look at the system performance (enclosed). To reduce the number of trades and improve performance, I took only your filtered trades and optionable stocks.
The results were shocking. They delivered the highest CPC index in my history of trading systems evaluations and development. If you don’t know it, CPC index is a product of three components:
- % winners
- Ratio of gross profit to gross loss
- Ratio of an average winning trade to average losing trade
Many traders will not touch systems with the CPC index below 2.0. Your system delivered CPC over 400 in 61 closed trades initiated between May and November 2003.
The statistics of these 61 trades is outstanding and in line with my trading objectives:

| I became one of your newest PITBULLERS. All the manuals arrived that morning, long short and options. What a weekend I had.
I have been trading commodity options for approximately four years, mostly from the short side, but some long straddles also. I jumped all over the fax on demand early monday morning. I picked up 10 calls on Deere & Co. at $5.50 and sold them Tuesday at $7.50 for a quick profit. The entire manual was so well presented and easy to follow. You have one more convert on your team. On the sample sheets on your web site, it says "Date first top/breakout", and "price at first breakout". My question is...was the pitbull in at those breakouts, or was that just chart reading? | Many, many thanks. I looked at the list and decided that I liked Morton (MII) the best. So I put in a limit order with Fidelity Brokerage on the 8th. I got 10 contracts of the Nov 40 at 1 1/8. In fact, I think I was the only one buying. I sold them all today for 2 1/4. I made 100% in two days. You can do the math to annualize it.
DO I need to really tell you I want to subscribe??

As a purchaser of Pitbull investor I must start out by saying I am very happy. As a matter of fact I have even dumped my data provider for a big savings. I have found I do not need them. I have been onboard for some nice stocks that I never would have considered. Some of them are safeway in at 22, btv in at 25, delabs in at 26, tck in at 17.5, I have more winners but I'll limit the thread. Only 10 % of the stocks I've picked have been losers so far. | BRILLIANT! Henry, what you've done is to distill the essence of Nicholas Darvas method of picking stocks, while elininating 90% of the work! WOW! What I particularly like is the way we put all of the resources, expertise and knowledge for $.75 a week. I usually trade my own system , but recently have had inconsistant results. I've been trying to "reinvent the wheel", which has proven to be NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Without purchasing any manuals, I've achieved these results. When I do purchase a system, I'll then know the actual rules. I presume the results will be at least as good if not better (hopefully).

Just wanted to drop you a note and say thank you for making me a better trader in 2005. I subscribed in March, paper traded until July and then slowly started to trade using call options only. Finished the year up 40% WOW. I am planning to go to the premium level of service upon renewal. Even my teenage son invests with me and reviews our portfolio each night.
Shared your site with a co-worker who also subscribed over the summer. Now we compare notes each day on which options we are in. Several times a day we talk about being up/down in a particular option and especially when we get a double on the option.
In your Wednesday morning update you mentioned some long set-ups for those that still had some cash. I am sitting on about 30% cash. Even though I am not a premuium subscriber (yet) would it be posssible to e-mail what those might be.

| I think the numbers below speak for themselves. I will break it down for you as the option symols are not very recognizable. Starting from the top, we have QCOM +78.57%, ET +19.23%, GLW +185.71%, HP +58.06%, JBL +6.67%, AAPL +47.45%, MRVL +115.79%, TV +24.14%, ADBE +23.53%, DO +56.25%, AMTD 0%. As you can see there are NO minuses with 10 positive and 1 with 0 gain giving me an average of 51.56% gain in less than two months. To put it milldly, I am thrilled. I have never come even close to doing this well in my entire (long) life. I just signed up for your service about two months ago and I quickly changed to the LifeTime Membership as I could see how worthwhile your service is. Hi Henry,
You're so right about AAPL. I've been making a lot of money on that stock for a few years now. I don't agree about the cup and handle at 74 though, I think it's broken out on the monthly chart and is doing a 5th wave Elliotwave. I was hoping it didn't stop until 86 which is an all time high and then either do a C&H or keep going for a target of 105 for the 5th wave.
Thanks again for your always great commentary. I never listen to talking heads and I never talk to anyone about stocks or what I'm buying , which really annoys all my friends. When my wife points out that I always read your blog I say, well, he knows what they heck he's talking about.

| 6/28/2007: I have bought stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and friends and broker's "HOT" recommendations off and on for over forty years. To put it bluntly I've made almost every investing mistake known except being duped by a con artist. I've also read broadly on equity investing. After reading several other methods several years ago I finished the books feeling depressed about all the "subjective" issues they touted as being important in the decision process. How could I possibly make an objective decision about the strength of a management team 2,000 miles away that I would never meet? Fortunately that period of my search allowed me to see an Ad placed by Pitbull Investors. I subscribed and was almost immediately successful with your mechanical system. When the big crash in 2002(?) came along I let my Pitbull Investments and my Mutual Fund Investments(not picked by your system) sit unattended to fall and rise in their natural course while I busied myself with other endeavors. When I finally decided to get involved again (4-5 years later) I found my Pitbull selections had fully recovered and were up 20% over their high when I parked them . . . while my "professionally" managed Mutuals were still short by 20%. So I got involved again.
Within a month one of your selections returned me 35% in only 8 days. The others were mostly in positive territory within a few weeks even though I chose a correction period (March 2007) to get back in. My only frustration was having to wait until Sunday evening to view your report that would show me targets for the stocks found by your selection method. Then I inquired about the mentoring program you had occasionally mentioned.
As your 57th Mentoring Student I felt like I was being injected with dopamine. I was more euphoric after each session than the previous one. The final (3rd) session brought it all together and after a few more weeks using your four charting patterns and verifying my results against yours each Sunday . . . I finally took the plunge into your method of buying options. Six weeks later one of those selections broke my previous 8 day 35% personal record with a return of 136% on an option I purchased just 4 weeks earlier that still had 3 month's left to expiration. I invested $3,000 and sold it for $7,090. More significantly, if I had purchased the stock I would have invested $6,000 and gained only 24%. To get the same net return of $4,090 I would have had to invest $16,666 in the stock.
Since taking your mentoring course I have invested in 26 positions and still have 46 other stocks in my farm. Of those 46 stocks, 15 have gone through their breakout point. Even with the recent extended correction period over half of my positions are positive. Some of them significantly. As soon as they near their target I have plenty waiting to be purchased.
Your mentoring program has put me in the driver's seat. I still have much to learn from you about determining market direction, etc., but your nightly comments now make more sense to me. Also, I'm now able to learn from those comments as the market cycles through it's many moods, twists and turns.
Thanks, Henry, for having the passion and desire to spread your hard earned knowledge to the rest of us. My investment in your mentoring program is really my best personal investing record because it just keeps going and growing . . . like a certain famous bunny.

I just want to give you some feed-back on the 3 mentoring sessions that I recently completed.
To be honest, the 3 sessions are by far the most valuable and inspiring that I have ever had!
I hold a Master in Finance, and I have read 100+ books on the subject, I have been investing/trading for several years and I have attended various seminars on investing. However, the total sum of my experience from these activities is more or less worthless when compared to my takeaways from your mentoring sessions. The depth of your understanding of the financial markets and the usefulness of your various tools really amazed my several times during the sessions. I now feel much more capable of making more accurate and timely investment decisions.
I hope I am not offending you be writing this, but from my perspective you have done to stock trading, what Tony Robbins have done to personal development!

| Henry, thanks once again for the mentoring session the other week, this is the first time in my trading career that I have been able to totally relax in the knowledge that my stock selections have an above average chance of winning with a truly mechanical trade management system that works! Wow, the ProfitStops portfolio trade manager/adaptive volatility stop system is the icing on the cake - it has totally changed the way I trade by replacing my thinking human brain (dangerous!) with a purely mechanical, no questions asked, method of exiting trades....

I'm just curious as to what "walks of life" everyone comes from...
I don't know about most of you, but joining Henry here as a lifetime member and forum member/student has been an amazingly positive experience. It's too soon to say that it has been "life changing," but if future years are even half as great as this year (especially as we all continue to learn and get better) it quite possibly could be. This is a great group, and I love the help that we give each other, the charts we point out, etc. I sure hope that even if Henry decided to cut off all communication with the outside world for some reason, that we'd all keep in touch in this or another forum.
So, as we may be friends for many years to come..

My three Roth/IRA (no taxes) portfolios that I trade aggressively are up over 100% in the past 2 months since our mentoring sessions and becoming a member of this forum. Calculating targets and having a systematic exit strategy has me closing trades and moving onto the next one.....where as in the past I gave back Big gains trying to figure out where and when the trend was turning down. market is long or short. Additionally, I feel I probably have the
best money manager in the world. Everyone has called the market wrong
regarding whether to be long or short since the Aug/Nov timeframe until
now.
The ONLY thing that called it correctly (ie, bearish) was your indicator. How could
this be so simple but such a good predictor of stock market health???

Just got your email about the market. I'm sure your right on the money...excuse the pun.
This month because the market seemed to be moving sideways, I shorted some stocks that had a stochastics measure that was rapidly declining...ACGY/CIB/CNQ/CRM/ULTA/OSG/SGMO...That was on 10/15/09. I just bought these stocks back on 10/29/09 and did pretty good! I used the Stocktables.com to cull these stocks.

I have been doing my schooling with you for some time now, I will take advatage of some extended schooling you offer. So far...so good! Last three quarters I did a 47 percent on 100K By all intents and purposes I made my broker friend scratch his head as he made just over 20 percent and was happy as a clam!
